Surfing in Kennebunk Maine

Tropical storm Hermine was said to be having an effect on the Maine coast in regards to huge waves on Labor Day so I headed down to Gooch's beach in Kennebunk with a friend who wanted to go surfing. I was not disappointed as I saw the biggest waves I have ever seen in my life. These are not the typical waves that you see here in Maine so I tried to capture what I could with my camera. Over 120 surfers along with local spectators and photographers came to Gooch's beach in Kennebunkport to enjoy the surf.
