DEW HAVEN 2014
These pictures were taken at the D.E.W. Animal Kingdom and Sanctuary in Mt. Vernon, Maine. This is also the home of Animal Planet's TV series, Yankee Jungle.
Walking through this sanctuary, we could clearly see the love and care that the owners, Bob and Julie Miner, give to these animals. When the animals hear Bob's voice, they light up with excitement and even the largest, fiercest, animals, become cute and cuddly as they anxiously wait for their owner to come by. Hearing the lion's mighty roar was my favorite part of the day and I look forward to visiting them again soon.
